A delegation from North-West University, South Africa visited KET’s Schools of Management to explore possibilities of research collaboration. The delegation comprised Prof Babs Surujlal – Executive Dean, Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, Prof Wyand Grobler – Director, School of Economic Sciences, Prof Lucius Botes – Director, Research Development and Professor, and Prof Ephrem Redda – Associate Professor.
An extremely fruitful discussion with the Internationalisation Team from KET and its faculty members resulted in charting several research areas, in which the two institutes would consider collaboration – joint research, joint supervision and examination of doctoral and masters level dissertations and postdoctoral research. The delegates also loved the infrastructure of the Schools of Management and were delighted by the hospitality. We look forward to building strong and meaningful ties in the coming months.
