- Bharati Deshpande welcomed all the members present and initiated the proceedings.

Dr. Bharati Deshpande apprised the members about the approval of the minutes from the June 29, 2024, meeting.
Agenda 4: Action taken report:
Dr. Bharati Deshpande also informed the members the following:
- Successful completion of Academic Year 2023-24, with all academic activities, value-added initiatives, and extra-curricular events proceeding as planned.
- University examinations were conducted in May 2024, in line with the circular.
- Placement activities for Batch 2023-25 will continue.
- All 125 students successfully completed DAYITVA-CSR projects, presenting satisfactory vivas.
- A comprehensive report on DAYITVA was prepared by Dr. Leena Barshikar and Dr. Bharati Deshpande.
- Suggestions from CDC members will be incorporated into the next academic year.
Agenda 5:
1.Academic Planning:
Dr. Bharati Deshpande informed the members that Semester III commenced on July 17, 2024, with Specialization Orientation sessions.
- Summer Internship Project Viva: Scheduled for the first week of September.
- New Batch 2024-26: Classes commenced from September 1-9, 2024, with an orientation session led by Dr. Bharati Deshpande. New Initiative: A student mentoring program was introduced for the new batch.
2:Dr. Svetlana Tatuskar updated members on upcoming internationalization activities planned for November, focusing on collaborations that include:
- Student exchange programs
- Faculty exchange programs
- Research collaborations
- Other areas of mutual interest”
3: The Director informed members about two significant events:
- Librarian’s Day: Celebrated on August 12th, featuring a Book Review Competition and Presentation.
- Ashadi Ekadashi: Also celebrated, highlighting cultural significance.
4: Dr. Bharati Deshpande informed members about upcoming cultural events, including:
- Ganapati Festival
- Guru Purnima
- Yoga Day
5: Students Scholarship:
Director informed members about the following student scholarships in the below points:
The government of Maharashtra is providing about various scholarship schemes offered by the Government of Maharashtra for students in professional courses, including:
- Government of India Post-Metric Scholarship
- Post Metric Tuition Fee and Examination Fee (Free ship)
- Maintenance allowance for students studying in Professional Courses
- Rajashri Chattrapati ShahuMaharaj Merit Scholarship
- Post Metric Scholarship for a person with a disability
- Post Metric Scholarship Scheme (Govt. Of India)
- Tuition and Examination Fee Freeship for Tribal Students (free ship)
- Economical Backward Students.
These scholarship schemes are operational and administered by the Government of Maharashtra and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State.
6.: Employability Readiness Program:
- Ms. Kavita Joshi updated members on Employability Readiness Program: Conducted by Mr. Gaurav Gupta from August 18 to December 2024.
- Placement Induction: Conducted by Ms. Kavita Joshi on August 30, 2024.
- Placement Department Activities: Updates provided on ongoing and upcoming initiatives.
- Campus Placements: Expected companies to visit campus starting September, with further details to follow.
- The Dean informed members about a guest lecture series held in August, featuring:

- Prof. Anil Joshi
- Ms. Manasi Lal Sawant
- Mr. Mandar Mhatre
The sessions covered topics such as:
– Management specialization
– Personal grooming
– Career path development”
- Dr. Bharati informed members that the Dayitva project for Gandhi Mandir is underway, with students engaging with classes from primary to higher secondary levels.
2.Dr. Bharati informed the forum about two new initiatives launched by KBS this year:
- Outbound Training: Designed to introduce students to management education fundamentals, team building, and group effectiveness.
- Mentorship Program: Conducted to familiarize students with KBS faculty and facilities.
Proposed Agenda:
- Dr Bharati Deshpande informed the members about the agenda for the coming academic year which includes:
- Academic Review: Classes and faculty evaluations to be conducted.
- Examination Schedule: Preparation of upcoming exam schedules.
- Learning Resource Centre: “Reading Inspiration” activity to commemorate A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s birth anniversary.
- Cultural Event: Students’ Cultural Team to organize Navratri Garba Night.
- Competitions: Encouraging student participation in various competitions and summits.
- Industrial Visits: Planning institutional and industrial visits for practical experience.
- Study Missions: Incorporating national and international study missions into the academic calendar.
- E-Library Training: Organizing training sessions for e-library resources.
- E-Cell Initiatives: Planning and executing new initiatives.
- Collaborations: Developing and implementing new partnerships.
With no further agenda items, Dr. Bharati Deshpande thanked the members and officially closed the meeting.
